August is almost over. This year has been such a wild ride. New son is a joy and so much fun. Feel like I am 20 again. Well maybe I can't be 20 again however Kade is keeping me grounded and the whole family is having a blast. Soon I will update this site so Kade is here.
Bun in the OvenDana is doing well. Reality is setting for us and we have been preparing as best as we can. Pretty exciting and fun at the same time. Shopping for a New Suburban but not really looking forward to a car payment as we have not bought a new car since 2001. Carmax has lots of choices but still just not sure I want to spend that much.
Carson as Center instead of defenseAt today's hockey game, Carson was put in for Center for the first time. This whole season Carson has played a strong defenseman and done a great job. He does get into the attack zone a little deep to often so the coach decided to give him a try as a forward. It was a little rough as Carson wanted to play defense at the same time. The two don't work together that well. He did pretty good and had 3 breakaway shots near the end but didn't score. It was fun to watch and as usual I took about 100 photos. Can't wait to buy an HD camcorder for some live action. Someday.

Photos Christmas Snaps
ThankfulAs we head into the Eve of Christmas, I wanted to share some thoughts. Being thankful is not just for Thanksgiving. While I like the weather in Arizona, it is sweet to think of what Christmas was like back when I was growing up in Montana. The cold wind and the achy bones. Trying hard to avoid frostbite but not caring as you formed snowballs or trucked thru the fields of snow. In Phoenix, we hardly ever see snow. If we do have some, it only lasts a few minutes. The past week has reminded me of Montana as we have had some cold rain and putting on a sweater and jacket was necessary. Tonight we headed inside and had a nice dinner with Jody and Cole. We went to Benihana. It was fun and the food was great. Wish you all well and have a great Christmas with family. We can't always be together however our memories from when young help bridge us to Christmas past and the fun makes us look forward to future Christmas with a smile.
